Literature Text
Blood on my wrists.
Tears in my eyes.
Can't you tell
I'm not satisfied?
Tears in my eyes.
Can't you tell
I'm not satisfied?
Literature
Depression
No inspiration.
No cause.
No feeling.
Numb.
Not need to go on.
No need to move.
A lost cause.
The indifference.
The emotional devastation.
Lost.
Love's gentle touch is gone.
No sense of emotion.
Days with no more meaning.
World keeps spinning while
you're to unstable to notice it.
You're gone.
You're nothing.
You're depressed.

She Can't Stop
Put down the razor
Quit writing this letter
Stow the pills away
Set the gun aside
She cries
Screaming for help wasn't right
Something she refused to do
He changed that
That one day changed her life
One slip of the sleeve revealed
what was really hidden
Crossing from left to right,
they matched hers
She finally felt how he had
the day her shorts showed too much
Looking at the pictures
agony had left,
drained the strength within her
How could he hurt himself
So strong and composed,
what of him was exposed
Pain was normal in her mind
A simple reminder of her mistakes
She'd take the pain of the world
and unleash it on her
Literature
Just Like You
The first thing he said was,
"You always wear long-sleeves
and jeans?"
An obvious sign
He has experience
With this.
But with a glance at his arms and ankles,
He was scar-free
He looked me in the eye
Refused to drop my gaze
I was puzzled
But then he slowly pulled up his shirt
Criss-crossing his chest
His collar bone
And shoulders
Were marks of cold nights
Spent so alone
Couldn't help but stare in wonder
Whisper, "You're broken, too?"
As my stomach fluttered,
He replied, "Yeah, just like you."

Pretty self explanatory... I just want to be happy. Is that really so terrible?
